In 2010 after tinkering with my own cars at the time and albeit a couple all with VW Golf MK4 and VW Boras with the formidable and still to this day impressive PD130 ASZ engine I decided I wanted to unleash the power that was possible!

It soon dawned on me that tuning was quite an expensive option at the time and I was unable to afford the £250-300 pounds that was being asked at the time.

It was then I began looking in to Tuning as I had a decent back ground with computers and figured this can't be that difficult to transfer my skills and turns out it wasn't!

Few YOUTUBE videos later and bit of googling and I discovered a tool called Galetto 1260 and its relatively cheap price on eBay and a file provider also found on eBay and I tuned my own BORA from 130bhp to 185bhp!

This was it, I was hooked! The excitement I felt was something that I needed to share and fast forward 15 years with few stints of doing other bits in between I hit 2020 a week before lockdown and launched myself full time into AutoTune Performance with a wealth of experience, lessons learnt, and a bank of knowledge that sets AutoTune apart from the new comers!
